We believe BBQ should taste amazing and be fun to make, serve, and eat. Famous Products markets and sells a full lineup of Famous Dave’s BBQ Sauce, Pickles, Seasonings, and Corn Bread Mix. We are expanding into the Perimeter of the store with both Deli and Meat department offerings.
Job Description: Customer Manager
We are seeking an entrepreneurial self-starter with a sales-driven mentality to work collaboratively and creatively with our team of like-minded professionals. The Customer Manager role is responsible for the overall management of sales, financial functions, and customer relationship activities within assigned accounts. This individual will also be responsible for driving the company’s growth by increasing revenue and margin, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and expanding the retail distribution of the company’s brands. This position is based in Eden Prairie, MN.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with senior leaders to determine the strategic direction of sales and business management functions within assigned accounts.
· Create, manage, and enhance ongoing professional business relationships with retailer customers and sales agencies.
· Prepare and present proposals that demonstrate an understanding of the company products as well as customer needs.
· Introduce new products to retail customers.
· Forecast new, existing, and promotional activity.
· Safeguard and promote the value of the Famous Dave’s brand.
· Use initiative and independent judgment to resolve issues and ambiguities.
· Achieve company sales and profit growth targets.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience selling into retail Deli and/or Meat departments.
· Demonstrated track record of building positive, productive relationships with retailers and sales agencies.
· Experience working with senior management to align sales strategies.
· Excellent negotiation skills, with proven track record of successful pitching for new business and maintaining ongoing customer relationships.
· Ability to effectively multi-task, delegate, and handle competing priorities.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
· Commitment to modeling Company Values.
· Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Compensation will be based on factors including, but not limited to, background, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
