Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Atlanta, GA(Remote) . Responsibilities include designing and delivering data warehouse solutions and working with AWS S3 and Hadoop ecosystems to support end-to-end data integration. Rate Range: $55/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Data Engineer job responsibilities include: Design and develop ETL solutions using Ab Initio, including metaprogramming, PDL, and reusable frameworks. Manage data integration and transformation for data warehouse systems, particularly in the banking domain. Work with AWS services, including S3 and Redshift, to support cloud-based data storage and processing. Collaborate in Agile teams, participating in backlog grooming, coding, code reviews, testing, and deployment. Perform end-to-end testing, including test planning, execution, defect logging, and validation. Coach team members and share best practices, contributing to continuous improvement and technical leadership. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years in data warehousing and ETL development, particularly with Ab Initio. Hands-on experience with Ab Initio, including metaprogramming, PDL, and solution design in the banking domain.
